— Frequently Asked Questions
Questions that come up before the first conversation.
Still have something open? Write directly to info@oneexpatservices.com—I usually respond the same day.
- What exactly does full coordination include? End-to-end management of the entire assignment: immigration and visa, relocation, tax and social security, onboarding, ongoing support, and repatriation. You have one point of contact who coordinates all parties—instead of managing five interfaces yourself.
- Do you also work with smaller companies without their own mobility department? Yes—especially then. SMEs without their own mobility function benefit the most: I take on the role of an external mobility department, scaled to the specific case, without requiring you to build internal structures.
- To which countries do you support assignments? Focus areas are Europe, the USA, and Asia; through an established partner network, beyond that as well. What matters is not the flag on the map, but clean, timely coordination on the ground.
- How do you differ from a traditional relocation agency? Relocation is only one part. I additionally coordinate immigration, tax and social security, contract and policy matters—and remain the same point of contact throughout the entire assignment. A relocation agency usually ends with the handover of the apartment.
- Who is my point of contact during the assignment? Me personally. No rotating case team, no anonymous hotline—a direct line for the company and for the assignee. That's the core of the "single point of contact" promise.
- Do you also handle tax and social security? The coordination, yes: I manage the specialist partners for tax, payroll, and authorities and ensure that deadlines, reporting obligations, and contracts align. The specialist opinions themselves are prepared by specialized partners—managed through me as the central point.
- How does an initial consultation work? 30 to 45 minutes, free and non-binding. We clarify the situation, destination country, timeline, and open risks. Afterward, you receive an initial, honest assessment—even if collaboration is not (yet) necessary.
- What does the collaboration cost? Depending on scope, as a package per assignment or as an ongoing engagement. After the initial consultation, you receive a transparent, fixed proposal without hidden hourly billing—so you can budget cleanly internally.
